At New Spectrum Labs we use an advanced CO2 extraction process for superior safety and quality. CO2 is non-toxic and free of hydrocarbons (like butane, hexane and propane) making it more environmentally friendly than other solvent based extraction methods. The extraction process uses pressurized carbon dioxide to pull the beneficial phytonutrients from the whole hemp plant while removing any toxins and harmful compounds, resulting in a golden oil like consistency. This allows the oil to, at times, move directly to product formulation with limited post processing. CO2 is the gold standard for food products, and we want nothing less for our customers.
